Life isn’t perfect! It never was and never will even if you belong to the 1% of the wealthiest family in the world. Everyone has flaws. Everyone might not share the same stories but we do struggle at some point in our timeline. So I don’t understand people who feel like they are entitled to so many things. They are so confident in trying to control your life. Like they would portray themselves as someone superior over others. Like they are perfect!!! But hell NO!!!
In a scene of a group of people of different ages in the room. Older ones are most likely to take over and want to rule in every way. You can’t justify a person's experience just based on the number of their age. Or their knowledge is far better than yours because they are already seniors. Your title doesn’t give you either the right to oppress someone. These people are thinking they may be the center of the Universe. They may be someone that the whole crowd may be talking about? Or someone for lookout in a Corporate Event, Parties whatever. I don’t get it!
An extremely narcissistic person is just gross! Imagine a post of that person daily on your newsfeed on Facebook. Everyday photo of their selfies or their daily grind. And I’m sorry, you may be good at some aspects of your life but you being overly confident makes the whole picture simply annoying. Some talk like they are some type of expert about hair, fashion, health, or "Mr./Ms. Know It All" as simplified. Funny because they have their own flaws and yet they are so afraid to talk about them.
It’s true not to burn one’s bridges because you’ll never know what is on the other side. People want to improve themselves and they want to be someone you will look up to. Thinking they have all the right to open your closet and share it with the world. They would not care a bit like for them you are nothing or maybe you’re just simply that someone they can definitely move on and live without. What a gut to share their frustrations and disappointments about you.
Eventually, I realized that people come in different backstories which make and mold them. Some had a major turning point in their lives that makes them as well who they are now. There may be some more factors on why or how we act the way we are doing today. I know that everyone is going through something we may not be capable of even doing just half of it if we have to switch baggage. We do things for a reason like we have our own motives. We do things triggered by our emotions and the people that surround us. At the end of the day, if we learn to accept and respect one another. We will be able to accept each other's flaws and won’t ever be afraid to accept rejections. We will bear in our minds each time we open our mouths that we should respect them. We should know how to be sensitive in situations where we are already crossing borders. We should respect others' privacy as much as we wanted to keep parts of our life private. Best of all, we should be true to ourselves as much as being true to our friends.
Sometimes I feel like I am so mean with my friends but I make sure to explain why I want to make a point without sugar-coating it. It makes it more genuine, it gives the message an emphasis on how much you really mean it. And I appreciate people being true and frank but rather not the ones who are invading your personality already. That makes the difference. Always ensure you don't steer away from your objectives. Nobody knows you more than you do. Nobody knows how much advice or moral support you need more than you do. Too much is not a good thing at all times. We should learn how to balance things between what is just enough and what is just acceptable. Nobody has ever been given a special right to control who you are or what you are. Stick with people who are honest with you at all times even more when they are sober.
