Stigma

I've been very honest with my friends that I was hurt and was even at raged last week hearing the issue between LGBTQ and Manny Pacquiao. Yes, he already apologized. Well, okay? Not only the Gay Community in the country watched it but for sure the whole world too. Yet, I don't think that our fight stops there. No, because people who've been all along acting as if they know what is right for us just because they have read the Bible or holds a higher status quo still judge us. I've been creeping across social media sites every night after coming home from work. I think I've had enough of negative comments and posts on my news feed. Now for the record. Not because a person brought pride to our country or even a plain nobody has ever had the right to eliminate others in expressing their point of view. The worst is to even compare their achievements. I don't think it is right. The issue here is not even about Manny Pacquiao anymore. I am more disgusted by the fact that people aren't really open to accept who the LGBTQ is. Most people say we are overreacting on the issue. Manny Pacquiao may not be blood-related to us, yes and so are you? To me, you are the one who's overreacting trying to act like you know better about our emotions. We are crying because our own family never judges us. We are crying because Manny Pacquiao is someone we've been very proud of in fighting for the pride of our country yet once told the world that we are worse than animals? We are crying because we did nothing wrong but to be true to ourselves. Homosexuality is not our choice and we will continue to fight for our rights being a part of Society. We won't stop unless you have opened your minds and hearts and treat as your equal.

I don't hate Manny Pacquiao, I really don't. I hope people understand that when I express my thoughts about LGBTQ it does not always refer to Manny Pacquiao. The truth is we are standing up for being a member of the Gay Community because we know that only each of us will understand each other. Make sense? I know some of us have been very offensive in taking the issue too seriously. Some might have crossed the lines either but that's another story. Why can't we try to understand others? These back and forth fights are not helping in resolving the real issue. If we have nothing nice to say then shut up. Simple, right?

If you are against same-sex marriage then fine. I respect that. Let us love whoever we want to love though because you will never understand the way our heart beats being Homosexual. And I hope that making others pretend whoever they do not satisfy your belief. Depriving gay people with so many things. Taking away the rights we should be entitled to as well. I hope that makes you more human knowing that we try to understand you more than ourselves because you think being gay is a sin and a disease. I hope it comforts you when you leave a conversation because you think that talking about Homosexuality is nonsense. And you think that you are always the better person because Homosexuality is a big joke. You ridiculed as more than enough for a very long time now. I am one with my friends, families, workmates, and every member of the LGBTQ Community in fighting for equal rights and stop discrimination. Just stop. If you can't accept us then start avoiding every places and using every single thing where LGBTQ is associated. (One thing is sure, we are in existence everywhere.)
We are attracted to the same sex because that is also the truth. That is how we look at love. To us it's normal and we can never teach ourselves to love the opposite sex intimately. We are gay the moment we were born in this world. We can never override our minds more so our hearts because that is how we feel we should be as humans. That is the truth.

Now even if the Gay Community disagrees with me on this, but I'd rather follow my heart and mind to be happy and live my life the way I wanted. I thought that every religion teaches love. And sex is a manifestation of love. Even though people preach like they are already granted Salvation by spreading the word from their beliefs. And that I ain't gonna be save because that's what their belief told them so? I always like to remind myself that as long as I don't do harm to others and act as expected of humans. Then I'm fine. This to me is the first step we should be fighting for in getting equal human rights being a part of Modern Society. Only if we stop issues about discrimination against homosexuality without conditions then it won't be that hard anymore to accept same-sex marriage in the future. Do yourself a favor, save yourself, and don't mind me. So take with you your Gospel and start doing what you preach.
